Absolutely worth the trip! We bought an anniversary ribeye that was spectacular! Called ahead and they cut it and had it waiting when we walked in the door.
Let it approach room temp on the counter. Lightly coated with steak seasoning (Borsari). Smoked at 250f on the BGE with pecan to an internal temperature of 115f. Seared immediately at 650f for 60-seconds per side. After a 10-minute rest we cut into one of the very best steaks I've ever made!
Small place! Of note: you won't be building a whole meal here, just buy the protein and move on."

They have a butcher case of fresh cut meats to choose from plus 2 freezers full of all sorts of goodies, like store made brats, hot dogs, butchered meats, and more. They make their own jerky in house and it’s very tasty. Don’t pass on their brats! The maple bacon and cranberry brat is the best. Little bit of sweetness from the maple and cranberry make a WORLD of a difference. So if you are in the area, stop in to stock up."
